Coppola even used the environment of Patsy’s to shape the iconic roles and performances associated with the classic Godfather movies in the 1970s.

Political celebrities have also made visits to Patsy’s, including Rudy Giuliani, Mayor Bloomberg, and others to make stump speeches to their constituents. At less than 100 years old, Patsy’s has established a special image and reputation for Italian pizzeria dining that endures to this day. It serves hundreds of thousands of pies each year, to visitors and local Clearview residents alike.

Patsy’s Pizzeria is an example of such classic Americana style. It’s founding is reminiscent of the visions of the American Dream—immigrants can come to a land of promise, work hard, start small, and realize the biggest dreams of wealth, prosperity, and a better community as a result. Clearview residents are collectively blessed by the presence of Patsy’s, just as Patsy’s is blessed for the success it has found in this little neighborhood in the greater Queens area.
