Forest Park is a popular park that many Woodhaven and Richmond Hill residents enjoy on a daily basis. Always busy with families and residents of all ages, Forest Park is home to many fun recreational activities, and has its own golf course, several playgrounds and athletic fields, and many tennis courts. Tennis is one of the most popular sports in the area, and is evidenced by how busy these tennis courts are every day. Make sure you call ahead and make a reservation, or all of the courts might be taken!

The New York Department of Education provides service to all of the public schools located in the area, including schools in Woodhaven and Richmond Hill. The New York City Academy for Discovery is also located in this area, as well as several other private schools and charter school.
