Meadow Woods is a small community right next to Orlando, Florida. Not far from Meadow Woods is a theme park unlike any other. This scaley attraction focuses on Florida’s state reptile, the American Alligator. Gatorland is an incredible theme park and wildlife reserve that showcases one of nature’s most dangerous prehistoric predators. Gatorland’s mission is to entertain and educate visitors of all ages, while providing sanctuary to this amazing creature that was at one point, close to extinction.
Gatorland was created in 1949 by Own Godwin. Godwin purchased a large cattle ranch and used the area to create the large theme park and wildlife reserve. This reserve would become home to not only thousands of alligators and crocodiles, but to many other animals such as snakes, lizards, birds and more. The park is even known for buying and rescuing alligators that have caused nuisance issues or have been caught by trappers. Gatorland is a full theme park experience, as guests come to learn about different reptiles and animals, while enjoying exciting shows and attractions.
Gatorland also includes extra tours and adventures for visitors that want to get a closer look at (and even touch) the alligators and other park animals. There are the thrilling high stakes experiences like Adventure Hour, where you are allowed into the Alligator Breeding Marsh to feed a congregation of hungry alligators and then pose for a photo op. There is also the Gator Night Shine, where visitors come back to the park at dusk to experience alligator nightlife. Armed with flashlights and gator bait, guests walk along the wooden pathways of the Alligator Breeding Marsh, looking for the glowing eyes of alligators; they then offer the gators a quick midnight snack and move along.
The park also has a petting zoo, aviary, zip lines, and the Gatorland Express. The ziplines have been recently updated, and are now outfitted for those who have mobility challenges. The Gator Express was also updated after it retired the original Ol’ Iron Horse Express; which is said to be the oldest amusement attraction in central Florida. For those over the top alligator enthusiasts, special visitors can pay to be a trainer for a day. This gives them a chance to be tutored in what it takes to be an alligator trainer. The behind the scenes access gets them experiences like holding a baby alligator, meeting the stars of the Up Close Encounters Show, and even a step inside the Gator Wrestling Arena. All in all, Gatorland gives visitors an experience they won’t soon forget.

Families share goals and scheduling preferences through a short intake. That information becomes a learner profile. Grade Potential then introduces your profile to a professional independent tutor whose background aligns. Once the tutor accepts, you’re introduced directly and sessions can begin.
Our packages are highly customizable based on your budget, preferred session cadence, time frame, location, and a few other factors. You’ll be presented with clear pricing before you begin. We support families in choosing the session length and cadence that works best for their individual situation; no hard sales tactics and no obligation to purchase a long-term package.
Typically within 2-3 business days, depending on subject, location, and schedule availability. Urgent timelines are noted in your profile so introductions prioritize your timing.
