Kissimmee tutors are incredibly proud to support and house in the community of Kissimmee the nonprofit resort “Give Kids The World Village.” The nonprofit gives for free, one-week long vacation packages to families that have children who tragically suffer from life threatening illnesses.
When children in the United States suffer from a life threatening medical condition they are granted a wish. The wish process is a means to give the child a positive experience to credit them for all the courage they’ve shown. Very often the wish they make is to visit Florida and attend all of the fantastic theme parks and attractions. It is at this point that “The Village” step in and with the help of their partners offer assistance to the families of the children. They set up their accommodation in luxury villas, set up travel arrangements, procure entrance and passes to their chosen theme parks, and take care of any other requests or needs that the families might have in order to ensure that everything runs smoothly and they have the best possible time. According to Kissimmee tutors more than 150,000 children have had the dedicated care of the team at “Give Kids The World Village.”
The organization began under the watchful eye of hotelier Henri Landwirth who was originally motivated to set up the organization after a young dying girls wish to come to visit the theme parks was not fulfilled due to inability to organize everything in time. He had been contacted and asked if he would supply a room free of charge for her and her family, which he gladly agreed to, only later to find out that they would no longer be staying because the other elements of planning her trip could not be taken care of. It was at this point that Landwirth took it upon himself to set up a framework so that this tragic failure to launch would never happen again.
Landwith had an extensive list of contacts within the travel and hotel industry and reached out to colleagues, friends and acquaintances to set up a system to organize the most thrilling adventure for a young child even with the minimum amount of notice. It was Landwirth who named the project “Give Kids The World,” it was later that an actual village was constructed as a community to welcome in and accommodate the very special guests.
The “Give Kids The World Village,” is now a resort in its own right with over one hundred and fifty guest villas, live entertainment, themed venues and many activities available for the children and their families to take part in together. This entire project is the result of like-minded individuals wishing to contribute to be able to bring a once in a lifetime experience to these unfortunate children who are going through an extraordinarily challenging time, and to give them and their families a retreat from all of the hardship.

Families share goals and scheduling preferences through a short intake. That information becomes a learner profile. Grade Potential then introduces your profile to a professional independent tutor whose background aligns. Once the tutor accepts, you’re introduced directly and sessions can begin.
Our packages are highly customizable based on your budget, preferred session cadence, time frame, location, and a few other factors. You’ll be presented with clear pricing before you begin. We support families in choosing the session length and cadence that works best for their individual situation; no hard sales tactics and no obligation to purchase a long-term package.
Typically within 2-3 business days, depending on subject, location, and schedule availability. Urgent timelines are noted in your profile so introductions prioritize your timing.
