Anaheim California is a town known across the nation, as it’s home to the one and only Disneyland! Disneyland is, quite literally, a magical place where parents have come with their children for generations. It’s an amusement park unlike any other, and a place that almost everyone has memories of. I’m sure your Anaheim tutor has been there a few times themselves.
Disneyland started as just a vision of Walt Disney, who dreamt of creating a place unlike any other. Originally he had plans for an 8-acre park, but the start of World War II put those dreams on hold. Walt didn’t let go of his vision, however, and during that time his dreams and vision of what the park would be kept growing.
Walt soon realized that 8 acres wouldn’t be enough, and he had the Stanford Research center conduct a survey to find him a 100-acre plot that would be perfect for his park. He did have some requirements; he wanted it close to the Los Angeles metropolitan area, and also wanted it easily accessible via the freeway. They finally chose a 160-acre orange grove in Anaheim, California as the future home for Walt Disney’s dream.
Making this dream a reality, however, was going to cost money, and Walt Disney could only afford so much on his own. Banks would not give him loans to create a fantasy land, and so Walt turned to television, providing sneak peaks of what would be found at his theme park. Doing this helped to make the dream a reality.
Once everything was started, they had to get down to the nitty gritty of planning a park. Walt Disney decided on a design that consisted of five different “parks”. The first would be Main Street, which would be the entrance. Main Street was designed to mimic what you would see walking through a town in the days of your grandfather. Then there was Adventureland, a tropical and exotic place designed to give you the feel of being in the wild jungles of Africa or Asia. Frontierland would take you back to the days of the pioneers. Fantasyland would be a whimsical place that even featured a castle, and finally Tomorrowland would give us a glimpse of what tomorrow held for mankind.
The creation of the park faced many hurdles, and opening day was a complete disaster. But even with these setbacks, the 10-year anniversary of the park marked over 50 million people coming to see this crazy theme park unlike any other ever created. So once you’ve finished meeting with your Anaheim tutor why not plan a trip yourself!

Our packages are highly customizable based on your budget, preferred session cadence, time frame, location, and a few other factors. You’ll be presented with clear pricing before you begin. We support families in choosing the session length and cadence that works best for their individual situation; no hard sales tactics and no obligation to purchase a long-term package.
