Chandler, Arizona is a thriving Phoenix suburb ranked by several real estate websites as one of the top five places to live in the metropolitan area. Chandler demonstrates its commitment to the arts through its museum of city and valley history, its libraries and the Chandler Center for the Arts which opened in 1989 as a shared venue between the city and the Chandler School District. The Center’s website boasts that the facility is an “acoustical masterpiece” and has entertained visitors and residents alike with concerts, dance, comedy, drama and educational programs. Recently, the city approved funding for $6.7 million in infrastructure renovations and improvements to seating and air conditioning.
