As developers sectioned off lots to sell to farmers, they noticed the gorgeous wildflowers in the area, and so the name “Paradise Valley” was born. This area didn’t experience any residential growth until people started to leave nearby cities like Phoenix as they experienced tremendous growth in the early 1900s. These residents wanted more of a “small town” setting, and settling in Paradise Valley provided that laid back lifestyle that they were looking for and could no longer have in Phoenix.
When it comes to luxury golf courses, look no further than Paradise Valley. The two most popular local golf courses are the Camelback Golf Club and the Mountain Shadows Golf Club. Both provide high-class membership amenities to residents of Paradise Valley. With gorgeous courses and jaw-droppingly beautiful backdrops, even if you don’t play golf, you’re going to want to take a golf cart through the course just to take in the view.
Served by the Scottsdale Unified School District, Paradise Valley families feel that the education system here provides plenty of high quality resources to their children.
