I believe I am exactly what you are looking for as a tutor for young children and teens. Not only do I possess two college degrees, but I have a true passion for teaching and mentoring children. I have the right temperament and patience for working with young people.Currently, I am working for the San Luis Obispo County Office of Education as an Instructional Assistant in the Special Needs classrooms in SLO County. Our students range in age from 3-22 years. I like working with typically developing kids, but have a special love of helping children with mental and physical disabilities.My work schedule is ideal for tutoring, since I am finished with my regular job M-F by 3:30 at the latest. This allows me to be available most afternoon, evening, and weekend hours.

I have tutored math at the elementary school level (K-6) at Love Social Services in Fairbanks, AK once a week for approximately a year. I have also tutored primarily algebra at the college level twice a week during the spring 2010 semester at Mesalands Community College.
