I have been teaching and tutoring all levels of mathematics and physics for more than 20 years. In my teaching career, my niche was teaching students one on one with learning differences in mathematics. I have tutored in all situations and am known locally for being able to effectively review and consolidate a large amount of material and prepare students for trimester/semester exams.

I have extensive tutoring experience in a variety of fields. I have tutored in Math . I have helped students learn to analyze problems, solve, understand complex topics, and graph parabolas. Your program requires that tutors be able to assist students in multiple subjects, and my experience would allow me to do just that.As a summer camp counselor, I have experience working with middle and high school. I have also tutored college students in Math.

I have experience teaching at an elementary school science level and I learned that each child is different and has a different learning style and level. Especially teaching science it is not an easy level to grasp. With this experience I have learned to be patient, a good listener, and also to work as a team together.

I put the needs of my students first and work closely with parents to come up with an effective plan for their success. I have a strong background working in the educational field here in San Diego. I have tutored professionally and also worked at a local university in the history department. Currently I am working as a Substitute Teacher with San Diego Unified. I have personal experience with the SAT, ACT, GRE, and SAT Subject Tests, and I can assist students with their writing and college readiness in addition to their school subjects.

I have worked with kids since I was a kid myself and work well with them. I am a born storyteller and can bring history to life and make your student be as fascinated with the world as I am.I am currently etting myself up to go for a career change to international relations, starting with an AA in PoliSci to complement my current degree. I will have a fixed schedule and currently possess my own transportation so getting to students won't be difficult.

I am truly dedicated to helping students improve; my goal from any tutoring session is not just to teach the student something, but to ensure that they have the tools to find the answers themselves. I am extremely friendly, and try to ensure that even the most difficult material becomes relatable in some way.

I love to see my students have that "ah-ha! I understand!" moment. It is the best feeling in the world. I also love to see my students grow and develop their skills and education. I have the drive and desire to give everything I have to my students to help them learn and accomplish their goals.

I love children and being able to help them has always been one of my stronger points. I am very patient with children and understand the difficulty they have when being tutored. I feel like it's a challenge I like to take on to make them better in the area that they are not strong in.I've tutored in the for another program. It was in the inland empire and I would tutor after I would be done with my college courses. I tutored K-6 grade. I was only focused on two subjects either Math or Language Arts. Most of these families were of second speaking languages. So their children had difficulty deferitiating English from Spanish. We had books that were made for tutoring and I would spend from 1 to 1.5 hrs tutoring them.
