I am attentive to detail, am intelligent, and am punctual. I can break things down into an easy to understand manner and I have so much experience in school. I know I can do this job well above average. Please give me the chance to tutor.I tutored Family Studies and other math classes at Cuesta College. Disabled students and just struggling students sought my help. I also have experience in art history, human sexuality, and many other classes.

I have taken many math courses at Cal Poly as an engineering major and always excelled at English throughout high school. As an ROTC Cadet, I understand the importance of being on time and prepared for whatever activity I am about to undertake. Additionally, having served as President of a Fraternity, I recognize that when people look up to me I must do everything that I say I will. If I say I'll be somewhere ready to do something, I'll be there on time and prepared.

I am a very reliable person who was able to get high grades all four years in high school, play a sport (baseball) for all four years and also serve as an ASB Officer for four years. I am very punctual, I have a reliable car and I pride myself in honoring the commitments I make (including the part-time jobs that I've held while going to school).

Both in high school and in college, I have been lucky to have teachers that have inspired me to be passionate about both learning and teaching. I am a dedicated student, driven to do well in my coursework and curious about everything more there is to learn. However, what I find more gratifying than succeeding in my own studies is seeing a peer who was struggling with a subject eventually thriving in it- or even coming to love it. Knowing what it is like to work around my own difficulties with my course work is an attribute that I feel helps me most when teaching others. Most students, including myself, can admit that they know what it is like to struggle in certain subjects. I can also share with you that I know how to break through this struggle and succeed in classes that are challenging for me. Science courses, for example, challenged me the most in high school. However, I put in the extra effort and developed certain study tricks that helped me to excel in my science classes. Now, I am deeply interested in both biology and chemistry and have made them focus of my studies. Keeping up with school and extra curricular activities has taught me to balance my time well, know my limits, and identify priorities. I understand that committing to a tutoring position should be treated like any other job. If I am to be asked to tutor someone and accept the position, that job would take precedence over other activities.

There are several reasons why I would be a good tutor. First of all, I am a bilingual credentialed teacher. I am fluent in both English and Spanish. Soon, I will also be dual credentialed. I will have both my Single Subject Spanish Credential and my Multiple Subject Credential. Previously I worked as a Home Hospital/Independent Studies Teacher. During my year as a Home Hospital Teacher, I was responsible for creating,providing, assessing, and documenting the curriculum for seven different homebound students from second to eighth grade. Currently, I teach Spanish One at Central Coast New Tech High School. At CCNTH I have developed my own curriculum to meet the needs of our diverse student body. I am an extremely flexible, punctual, and dedicated individual, and I know that I can take these skills and apply them to tutoring students with Grade Potential.

I am a good tutor because I am good at coming up with ways for other people to remember the things that I am helping to teach them. I also know these classes well because I took very detailed notes when I was in the classes myself. This makes it easier for me to teach the subject to someone else. I can be counted on to make my appointments because I hate to be late to anything. I always try to be early to everything.

I know I would be a perfect tutor for Grade Potential for my love in Education. Students are truly the seeds of our generation, and a valuable education is critical to their learning and growing as students, and as a human. The beauty of education is that it is vast, and it is diverse. I know I would work to my fullest ability and skills to relay the gift of teaching the material to the students. I would be a dependent tutor in two-folds: 1) To teach accurate material to the students in helping them progress, and 2) To arrive punctually at all student and program related appointments/commitments. If a student has an upcoming test or starting to fail in a subject, I would not try, but I will do my best to accommodate to extra tutoring appointments if needed/wanted. During tutoring sessions, I will make sure I am not only teaching the students, but challenging the students to learn the subject, and to make the material "stick". As an educator, I will make sure I understand the material for the student's comprehension of the material. As a tutor as Grade Potential, I know it will be a great opportunity for me to gain hands-on experience with students to help towards a valuable Teaching Career for my future, and knowing that, I will strive my hardest in the program. It is inspiring to know I have potential to be a leader in a student's early academic career, and twice inspiring to see students' potential as they grow academically. I will work hard, research, use resources to ensure I know the material before I teach students' because giving anything less than a valid tutoring session is not using both of our full potential.

I love working with people. Ever since I was growing up, I knew that I wanted to be a tutor or teacher of some sort and have worked hard to pursue that dream. I took courses in high school where I helped seniors who have failed the high school exit exam re-take the test a second time. I have experience working as a private tutor throughout my college career.I do private tutoring. I have tutored people ranging from elementary school to college level in subjects ranging from arithmetic to calculus to analysis.I have also taken a course where I helped seniors pass the CASHEE exit exam
