I love the art of teaching and find my skills with helping students to learn are best suited for one-on-one sessions. I would be a great tutor for Grade Potential because I have had a fierce passion for learning and teaching the Japanese language for over seven years. I studied abroad in Japan at one of its top universities for five months and in so doing have greatly improved my Japanese speaking, listening, and writing skills to a level of near-fluency.I also possess exceptional English writing skills and have been commended by nearly all of my college professors for being able to compose clear, concise, and grammatically correct essays.In college, one of my absolute favorite subjects was Philosophy. Examples of philosophy classes in which I excelled are Critical Thinking and Chinese Philosophy.By nature I am an extremely patient, kind, and self-motivated person. My teaching and tutoring style is fun, with clear explanations and lots of patience for my students.

I would be an excellent tutor because I have experience working with children who are stuggling in certain school subject areas. I am also very patient so I will be able to help any student who is struggling. I would be a good tutor for Grade Potential because although I have not yet completed my college degree, I have senior standing due to the amount of AP units I received from high school classes and I have received a varied and extensive education which I could use to benefit others. I have experience tutoring other students and I work very well with children and peers of my own age. I am very organized and I have learned to balance my time between classes, being vice president of my sorority, and volunteering weekly. I would love the opportunity to work for Grade Potential so I could have a job in which I could help others with their academic pursuits.
