Skyelar is an experienced mathematics and physics tutor currently pursuing a Bachelor’s in Mathematics with an emphasis in Data Science and Computer Science at the University of Washington. Having studied at Tacoma Community College and Seattle Central College, where he also served as a math and physics tutor for over a year, Skyelar brings a deep understanding of subjects ranging from rudimentary algebra to advanced differential equations.
Skyelar’s passion for teaching stems from his own experience overcoming academic difficulties with the help of compassionate tutors. He believes in empowering students to learn for themselves, helping them discover their capabilities and develop an appreciation for the sciences. As an older student, Skyelar has traveled extensively, cultivating exceptional communication skills and an ability to connect with students from diverse cultural and neuro-divergent backgrounds with kindness and understanding.
