Alondra is a dedicated educator currently pursuing her Bachelor’s in Broadcast Journalism at the University of Central Florida, where she also earned an AS in Political Science. With a natural passion for teaching, she excels at helping students connect classroom learning to real-world situations, fostering a deeper understanding. Her journey as a teacher began early, tutoring her younger brother and organizing study groups in grade school. This passion evolved into formal roles, including serving as a committee leader with NHS, where she tutored middle school students. Alondra also gained extensive experience as a Lead Teacher at Kids R Kids Learning Academy, working with children from infancy to age twelve, training new staff, and supporting students with behavioral challenges. Further K-12 experience includes substitute teaching at University Park Learning Academy and a role as a Kidstown Presenter for STEAM programs at the Orlando Science Center. For college students, Alondra is adept at fostering collaborative learning environments. She brings a confidence-building approach to every session, ensuring students not only grasp concepts but also develop a lifelong love for learning. She is also DCF and CPR certified.
