This experience has honed his organizational skills and attention to detail. An accomplished artist, Roger has mentored under Robert Van Vranken and exhibited in notable galleries across the country. He holds a degree in Art History from the University of Maine and has pursued further studies in sculpture and digital art. Roger also contributes to his community as a licensed Virginia Master Naturalist and enjoys photography and creative writing. He brings a unique blend of analytical rigor, creative insight, and practical experience to help students develop their writing and analytical abilities.

Education & Certifications

Degree in Art History from the University of Maine (1999), where he achieved a 3.8 GPA. He was also selected to study sculpture at the Art Institute of Krakow in Poland. Additional studies include a Summer Seminar at Acrosanti (2000), an Assemblage Seminar at Maine College of Art (1995), and a Digital Collage Workshop at The Center for Creative Imaging (1993).
