About Piedmont Triad

The three cities of Piedmont Triad, North Carolina, are like sisters growing up together, interacting, caring, and budding with ideas and experiences to share. They always got along well, and local folks liked to hop-skip-and-jump by foot and car back and forth. Then, in 1982, the Piedmont Triad International Airport opened, adding plane travel and the world at large. What a blast! It took off with an enormous building boom.

The Triad sister cities of Greensboro, Winston-Salem, and High Point joined forces attracting businesses which has led to two major research parks, nearly a million jobs, and many a respected educational institution.

Speaking of education: Kids go to fine schools, and have a chance to take field trips to the research parks. Many a writing project has been helped out by Piedmont Triad Grade Potential Tutors. They teach research techniques, notetaking, spelling, punctuation, and grammar to boot! Learn about animals, life sciences and biotechnology in the Gateway Research Park and the Wake Forest Innovation Quarter. Some of the medical exploration has had world-renown success!

Last, but not least is the sister city of Winston-Salem. Winston-Salem tended textile and furniture industries like her sisters, launched a rocket of exploration and networking with local businesses to diversify the economy, and the Piedmont Triad Research Park.
