Virginia Beach, Virginia has long been known as a vacation destination; and for good reason. Every year, visitors from around the world come to enjoy miles of open coastline, fun attractions, and historical landmarks. Appropriately named, Virginia Beach is in the Guinness Book of Records, for having the longest pleasure beach in the world. Those thirty-five miles of recreation beaches offer activities and attractions for the whole family. The beach front is home to hundreds of restaurants, lots of shopping, and of course plenty of opportunities for outdoor recreation. There are also popular state parks and a wildlife sanctuary, some right on the water. Visitors can go hiking, fishing, biking, jogging, strolling, and so much more. Some people come just to relax or have a picnic on the beach, and in the summer months, visitors get to enjoy watching the bottlenose dolphins right off the coast. The city also brings in many sports fans when it hosts the annual East Coast Surfing Championships and the North American Sand Soccer Championship.
Virginia Beach has always been a meaningful destination for travelers. In fact, in 1607 Virginia Beach was the original landing spot of Captain John Smith, before he and his fellow voyagers continued on to Jamestown. Visitors today can stop by and see the First Landing Cross, which marks the spot of that historic event. Virginia Beach is also home to Cape Henry Lighthouse, which is the oldest government built lighthouse in America. Visitors are even allowed to climb up into the lighthouse and take in the breathtaking ocean views. Another historically significant spot is the Virginia Beach Boardwalk. The boardwalk is three miles long and was built in 1888. Other sports include the Virginia Museum of Contemporary Art and the Virginia Beach Amphitheater. Both of which holds fun and exciting events or concerts for everyone to enjoy. The area is also home to the Virginia Marine Science Museum, which has been one of the most visited maritime museums throughout the last century. The museum has over three hundred and fifty exhibits and a has the only 3D Imax theatre in the state of Virginia. The history of Virginia Beach is significant, and many museums and historical landmarks tutor visitors on the first chapters in the story of colonial America. For those that visit Virginia Beach for educational purposes, the city has a lot to offer.
Virginia Beach tutors want all local students to appreciate their local resources, including the valuable resource of a good education. When students get discouraged in school, they often just need a little help and support to get back on track. A Virginia Beach tutor could be just who you need to get your student back on the road to success.

Our packages are highly customizable based on your budget, preferred session cadence, time frame, location, and a few other factors. You’ll be presented with clear pricing before you begin. We support families in choosing the session length and cadence that works best for their individual situation; no hard sales tactics and no obligation to purchase a long-term package.
