Trotwood, Ohio is a city that prides itself in maintaining a small town, close knit feel; while still enjoying the benefits of a big city. Trotwood started out as a small rural community that eventually grew into one of Dayton’s suburbs. But Trotwood is not congested and jam packed like most cities that have undergone the type of growth needed to accommodate over 30,000 residents. The homes and properties are spread out over thirty square miles; giving the city an undeveloped small town feel. Trotwood residents are proud of their local community, hardworking leaders, and thriving local businesses; and love the feel of a close, happy, and harmonious community.
One of the ways that the Trotwood spirit is exemplified, is through the many local organizations that reach out to serve and engage the community. Residence In Praise Fine Arts Center, is one of these local organizations. The community fine arts center offers a safe and fun environment for people of all ages to, “…discover, learn and improve their God given talents in the arts,” according to their mission statement. They offer professional lessons to students from five years of age, all the way up to senior adults. Classes are held in Music, Dance, Visual Arts, Creative Writing, Drill Team, Drum Corps and Communications; offering a wide range of opportunities for people to find their creative outlet. Students at the center perform in multiple recitals and Broadway musicals all around the area; the center also collaborates with local businesses and organizations that want to be a part of serving the community. Residence In Praise Fine Arts Center knows the benefits of participating in the arts; and wants to give as many residents as they can, the opportunity to do so.
Another caring organization in Trotwood, is Neighbor Care. Neighbor Care is an organization that helps low income homeowners and the elderly, make modifications and repairs around their homes. Their goal to ensure that they are living in a safe environment and have all the amenities needed for independent living. The non-profit organization is a year round offshoot of Rebuilding Together Dayton, most known for National Rebuilding Day; an annual event that happens on the last Saturday of every April. The organization understands that residents are often unable to afford or physically accomplish work that needs to be done around the home. With this in mind, volunteers head over to homes all around Trotwood, and other local communities, to help get those repairs taken care of. Their work not only makes homes safer, it also often enables the elderly to remain living independently in the homes that they love. Trotwood could tutor others in the importance of helping to serve and care for members of their community.
Trotwood tutors want all students to do well in school. If your student is struggling in school, a Trotwood tutor could be just what you need. Every student deserve the chance to succeed.

Our packages are highly customizable based on your budget, preferred session cadence, time frame, location, and a few other factors. You’ll be presented with clear pricing before you begin. We support families in choosing the session length and cadence that works best for their individual situation; no hard sales tactics and no obligation to purchase a long-term package.
