If you’re keeping up with the time, then you’ve probably heard of escape rooms. Escape rooms are designed as a team building exercise, or just something fun to do with a group of friends and/or family. The idea is that you are trapped in a room, and have 60 minutes to get out. Sounds pretty easy, right? St. Charles Missouri is home to three different escape rooms, and trust me, it’s not as easy as it sounds.
Escaping the room is not as simple as picking a lock or figuring out how to open a window. It takes teamwork and communication, and many business have actually been sending employees on these trips as a way to help build comradery and interaction amongst employees in a positive and productive way. You have 60 minutes to escape the room, but escaping entails solving a wide variety of puzzles and discovering clues. These things will all link together to help you figure out how you are able to get out of the room, but you have to be able to piece everything together, like a puzzle. Your St. Charles tutor can you help you master a lot of topics, but even they can’t give you the answer on how to get out of the room!
St. Charles has three escape rooms that you can try out. Each room has a different theme, and therefore a different way of solving the puzzle. You can try out Masterminds Escape Room, one of the more popular rooms that people select. If you manage to crack the case on that one, then why not try Cracked Escape Room? This room will have a different theme and therefore a different answer, meaning you have to piece together all new clues! If you’re a history buff then after meeting with your St. Charles tutor why not try out the Escape on Main, a room set in the historic district of St. Charles Missouri.
These rooms provide a new form of fun and thought provoking entertainment. It takes a team to get out of the these rooms, you could almost think of it as a life save game of Clue, except no murder thank goodness! These room are entertaining and interactive, and are great for kids all the way up to seniors. So next time you’ve got some spare time why not keep your mind sharp by gathering a group of friends and trying your luck, it’s always interesting to test out your own sharp mind and skills!
