South from St. Paul on Highway 52, Rosemount, Minnesota was originally settled in the 1850’s with a strong Irish Catholic heritage. In fact, Rosemount features a shamrock on its city flag and the local high school’s teams are known as the Irish. Not surprisingly, there is a village in Ireland named Rosemount. Every summer, the city also celebrates Leprechaun Days, a city-wide ten-day celebration which features a Grand Day Parade and Midsummer Faire with carnival, food vendors and live entertainment. The city’s website says that Leprechaun Days “strengthen and bring the community together through family-friendly events.” A highlight of Leprechaun Days is the fireworks show which follows the parade.
Similar to ice hockey, broomball is one of Rosemount’s most popular sports and has hosted the USA Broomball National Championships several times in recent years. Originating in Canada, broomball is played in a hockey rink, either indoors or outdoors, with a ball and a broom like stick. Teams of six with one goaltender attempt to score the ball into nets. Unlike ice hockey, broomball players don’t wear ice skates. A Rosemount tutor will keep you ahead of the curve so you can enjoy a broomball match or the many other activities available in the Rosemount area. For those interested in the outdoors, Lebanon Hills Regional Park on the northwest edge of Rosemount offers 2,000 acres with miles of hiking and equestrian trails. The park features both winter and summer recreational opportunities with several lakes, forests and grasslands.
On Rosemount’s eastern edge is the mighty Mississippi River which forms several lakes in the area including Baldwin Lake and Spring Lake. The Spring Lake Reserve, a few miles from Rosemount, is a recreational hub with over three miles of cross country skiing trails. Along the river to the north visitors can also enjoy the Mississippi National River and Recreation Area, a 72 mile stretch which features hiking, biking, fishing, hunting, canoeing and much more. For more information, the Mississippi River Visitor Center is located at the Science Museum of Minnesota in downtown St. Paul.
One of the most exciting attractions in the Rosemount area is the Minnesota Zoo in nearby Apple Valley. A Rosemount tutor will get you caught up on your studies so you can take a field trip to the zoo guilt free. The zoo features several different exhibits, called trails, which attempt to mimic the habitats of the animals who live there. For example, the Medtronic Minnesota Trail houses animals which are native to Minnesota such as wolverines, black bears, gray wolves and bald eagles. The Tropics Trail includes lemurs, Komodo dragons, tree kangaroos and red pandas. In all, the zoo is home to over 2,000 animals and nearly 300 species. More than 30 million guests have visited the zoo since its opening in 1978.

Families share goals and scheduling preferences through a short intake. That information becomes a learner profile. Grade Potential then introduces your profile to a professional independent tutor whose background aligns. Once the tutor accepts, you’re introduced directly and sessions can begin.
Our packages are highly customizable based on your budget, preferred session cadence, time frame, location, and a few other factors. You’ll be presented with clear pricing before you begin. We support families in choosing the session length and cadence that works best for their individual situation; no hard sales tactics and no obligation to purchase a long-term package.
Typically within 2-3 business days, depending on subject, location, and schedule availability. Urgent timelines are noted in your profile so introductions prioritize your timing.

Experienced, professional independent tutors with strong subject knowledge and a track record of working one-on-one with students. Many hold degrees in their fields; some are certified teachers or graduate students with specialized expertise.
