Well, it didn’t take too much research to realize the tobacco industry was in for some hilly challenges in the 1950’s. And this word called global competition was beginning to get global recognition threatening North Carolina’s traditional economy. But RESEARCH can lead to monumental accomplishments – and it did. Thanks to a bit of shaking hands between academia, government, and private industry the area known as the Research Triangle today, rocketed off technologically, economically and beneficially.
Wow! What an idea: team the efforts of the region’s three fabulous universities, Duke University (in Durham), the University of North Carolina (in Chapel Hill), and North Carolina State (in Raleigh), to fuel research and attract industry. Sounds good. Interested citizenry were enlisted to grow connections with potent government agencies. Networking surfaced, generating linkage with industry. Then, in a short few years, through threaded efforts of innovative, industrious individuals, the Research Triangle birthed the Research Triangle Park.
Its name resulted from the cooperative research studies, and educational successes — of its three universities. The extensive knowledge and services they provided and educated work force — provided a magnetic field that drew new industry to the area in enormous proportions. In no time at all, the park was a literal reality, 7,000 acres of it! The thriving area of the Research Triangle today has grown from its agricultural roots to become the second largest metropolitan area in the state of North Carolina.
What does this mean to students? Loads of opportunity! Education is a community tradition. From kindergarten onward — fine schools provide a first class education. And Research Triangle tutors are on hand to help you step up to the smorgasbord of educational, and later career opportunity.
The scholastic reputation of the area students and schools is, in fact, one of the key factors that draws businesses. So there’s value in focusing on acquiring a good basic foundation. Tutors will help you over the hurdles. For some it’s math, for others language and writing, or upper grade subject specialization.
In the junior and 4-year colleges and universities, the sciences, humanities, trades, arts and test taking skills can be explored with a helping hand. Tutors explain clearly, provide easy learning tips, and target the areas of your goals and dreams.
There are loads of options, one of which is to grow up to join your own homeland’s park-land. The Triangle Research Park has been knighted as one of the best high-tech research and development parks in the United States. You might get a tutor to help you do a research paper on its magnanimity! Situated in a pine forest, it is home to over 200 companies, 50,000 workers and 10,000 contractors. Whatever, your career interests, The Research Triangle community is ready to help you rocket to success.

Families share goals and scheduling preferences through a short intake. That information becomes a learner profile. Grade Potential then introduces your profile to a professional independent tutor whose background aligns. Once the tutor accepts, you’re introduced directly and sessions can begin.
Our packages are highly customizable based on your budget, preferred session cadence, time frame, location, and a few other factors. You’ll be presented with clear pricing before you begin. We support families in choosing the session length and cadence that works best for their individual situation; no hard sales tactics and no obligation to purchase a long-term package.
Typically within 2-3 business days, depending on subject, location, and schedule availability. Urgent timelines are noted in your profile so introductions prioritize your timing.
