    About Randallstown

Christopher and Thomas Randall are the town’s namesakes, and were known for housing the many travelers that passed through this area during the 18th century. A lot has changed since those early days, and now Randallstown is considered to be a suburban commuter town for Baltimore, just a short drive from the big city. Residents of Randallstown enjoy having access to all of Baltimore’s rich amenities.

    Known for being a very diverse city, Randallstown has gained attention for its racial diversity and primarily African American population. This is a major draw for many families that look for a diverse place to live and raise their children.

    Because of its long history in the state of Maryland, Randallstown has several old, historic buildings on the National Registry of Historic Places. One such house, the Choate House, is on this national list, and has been restored for future generations to enjoy. Originally constructed in the early 1800s, this stone mansion has a very unique look about it, and is worth checking out, especially for architecture buffs.

    Even though there are no direct stops inside the city limits of Randallstown, Randallstown residents enjoy serve from the Baltimore Metro Subway just outside the city.
