Pacific Heights Tutors Come To You

Pacific Heights is a beautiful neighborhood in San Francisco; known for its amazing panoramic views of the iconic city. Pacific Heights offers a glimpse of the Golden Gate Bridge, San Francisco Bay, the Palace of Fine Arts, Alcatraz, and the Presidio, some of San Francisco’s most famous sights. In 2013, Pacific Heights was named the most expensive neighborhood in the U.S.; and if it had had it’s own zip code, it would have been the most expensive place to live in the U.S.

One of the most popular places in Pacific Heights is Filmore Street. Named for President Millard Fillmore, the shopping district offers the neighborhood many great outing opportunities. In addition to popular retail shopping, there are several art galleries, clubs, theatres, bars, restaurants, coffee shops, bakeries, spas, salons, antiques and more. There are shops for kids and even stores dedicated entirely to pets. Fillmore street is also part of, “The Triangle;” three famous intersecting corners that are home to the bars of Balboa Cafe, and East Side West and City Tavern. The Triangle is a great spot for attracting locals and tourists alike.

One popular restaurant in the district is 1300 On Fillmore. The restaurant opened in 2007, with the goal of serving southern American food with a modern twist. 1300 On Fillmore wants everyone to be able to enjoy the tastes of delicious southern comfort food, combined with the freshness of California’s best ingredients. The chief uses his French training and a little imagination to combine flavors into a full culinary experience. Considered a Supper Club, 1300 On Fillmore offers customers fine dining, refreshing cocktails, and live entertainment. With a full bar, lounge, and live music, it’s a great spot for a night out; and for those who prefer something different, there is even a Sunday Gospel Brunch. The restaurant also host private events that range from casual cocktails to formal dinners, and can accommodate up to 210 guests.

Another unique stop in the Fillmore District is Spice Ace. Spice Ace is a one stop flavor shop. A love of travel and exotic flavors inspired the couple to make a shop that provides the world’s best spices, herbs, blends, chilies, peppers, salts, sugars, and extracts. There are special blends and batches to help make cooking fun, exciting, and new. While traveling and tasting flavors from around the world, the couple has been able to make cooking fun, and expand their palates; they hope to do the same for all of their customers. Spice Ace aims to tutor consumers about the exciting world of fresh and natural ingredients.

Pacific Heights tutors want all students to do well in school. If your student is struggling in school, it can be very frustrating and discouraging. But sometimes all you need is the right help and support. A Pacific Heights tutor could be just what you need. Every student deserve the chance to succeed.
