You might think that Littleton got its name because of its “little” size, but you would be wrong. Littleton actually got its name from an engineer from the eastern United States that had made his way out to Colorado to work on developing the irrigation networks in the area. Richard Sullivan Little saw the need that farmers were experiencing as this region of Colorado developed into a highly agricultural area. Irrigation was important for these farmers to achieve success with their crops. When Little came to the area, he fell in love with its beauty and all of the opportunity he saw, and he soon brought his family over to join him and settle in this place. As new industries arrived to the area, the community began to grow and thrive, and soon was incorporated as the town of Littleton.
Littleton gained a lot of national and international attention in the 1990s for a very sad and tragic reason. When news sources reported the tragedy of the Columbine High School shooting, Littleton was cited as the location, even though the high school where it took place was actually outside the city limits of Littleton. A nearby community, Columbine, is unincorporated, and so the location of the shooting was given as Littleton.

The Littleton Symphony Orchestra is also known for putting on various holiday themed productions, which are local family favorites.

Our packages are highly customizable based on your budget, preferred session cadence, time frame, location, and a few other factors. You’ll be presented with clear pricing before you begin. We support families in choosing the session length and cadence that works best for their individual situation; no hard sales tactics and no obligation to purchase a long-term package.
