Rich with local and period history, Century Village is a collection of authentic nineteenth century buildings, including several homes and barns, a one room schoolhouse, an old blacksmith shop, and even an outhouse. These old log structures, give visitors a glimpse into how life was lived so long ago. Each building is full of tools, furniture, and mementos of the time; and one of the old barns has even been converted into a museum. Century Village is a great way to learn about local and period history and it’s fun too.
