For miles, in states such as Pennsylvania, the leaves on the trees turn hues of orange, red, yellow, pink, and purple. The image of the cheerful fall season, cinnamon and apple in the air, originates from this region of the United States. At the heart of it is the yearly fall festival.

Bensalemn’s fall festival occurs over the course of a fun-filled Saturday in early October. Residents gather to celebrate local pride in their community, with a classic car show and musical acts performing throughout the day. Vendors, crafts, and food are available throughout the day as well, making the festival ideal for family togetherness. The festival ends with a stunning fireworks display in the cool night air, no doubt spiced with the scent of apple cider and gunpowder.

The fall festival is billed as a distinctive activity of Bensalem that promotes friendship, goodwill, and community. Just like the early Quakers who founded the Pennsylvania colony, the residents of Bensalem come together to celebrate their values and work together to strengthen the local bonds of community and economy.
