    About Asheboro

    Asheboro is a warm, friendly town in North Carolina, with a lot to offer. Asheboro boasts a long history in state, dating back to the late 1700s. Remaining very small for decades, it wasn’t until after the arrival of the railroad in the early 1900s that Asheboro began to grow significantly. Considered to be a great place to live in the state of North Carolina, Asheboro is an up-and-coming town that takes pride in its small-town charm and tight-knit community.

    If you’re a baseball enthusiast, you might just find yourself right at home in Asheboro. Residents of Asheboro are very supportive of their local collegiate baseball league, which plays a full season of games during the summer. The Asheboro Copperheads play at a local baseball field here in Asheboro, and their home games are well attended. The Asheboro Copperheads were founded back in the late 1990s and have only gained popularity since then. Besides this colligate league, there are also a number of youth baseball and softball leagues here in Asheboro, as well as several adult leagues, too.

    When it comes to local shopping options, Asheboro has a great local shopping center. The Randolph Mall has been around here in Asheboro since the early 1980s. Featuring many big brand stores including Sears, Ulta Beauty, and Ross, the Randolph Mall brings in many shoppers from surrounding communities, as well.
