This park is a popular spot for local outdoor enthusiasts, and provides a great place for trail runners and bikers to get in some miles. The mountains and natural areas of this area are beautiful and unique, and boast many different species of local wildlife, along with beautiful wild flowers and local plants. It’s a great way to get away from the hustle and bustle of city life, and it isn’t too far from Bassett.
Penn Park is another local favorite, just southwest of Bassett. It’s large, open green spaces are a peaceful reprieve from city life, and the beautiful waterfall inside the park is a great place to have a picnic and really take in the beauty.

Parents are proud of the options available to their children and feel good about the schools that are within the Bassett Unified School District.
